I am working on some upgrades to the site but i dont want to slap something up there without talking a little more about what it needs to do. The original site goes back to 2018 and pandemic notwithstanding there have been a lot of changes in the players in the band, technology on the internet and the way things work – so we need to do a little roadmap first…
- Who are the board members and what roles and responsibilities do they have. I dont want to get fired for doing something or not doing something that came from the wrong person or the right person.
- Who are the admins on the site? There can be a number of these too but again who has the right to ask for things to be done on the site…
- Money people. I love your band and I will be happy to support you in any way I can both – some donated time but some not – I would suggest a budget be made up – you know what the website costs to host every year – might want to start by doubling that alloted money for a year and see how far it stretches…
Other things as they pop into my head – do you want to have articles unreachable by the public? Is it necessary to have a story like this blocked – there is so little content there…
